Unique sound but not that of a train horn – If you are NOT handy with stripping wires and fixing anything electrical in your car then this is NOT for you.

THESE ARE NOT TRAIN HORNS – So I ordered these and we installed them today, and while they are definitely louder than what was in our jeep they did NOT in any way sound like a train horn, or any air horn for that matter.

Red Horn – Very easy to install, just plugs in to existing wires. Mounts on existing bracket. Has low tone and high tone horn, that run simultaneously. Now I can be noticed. The little Nissan horn would not do the trick. Now people with loud bass pounding from there speakers can some what hear me, while they are texting on their phone and drifting into my lane.

Standard loudness. – There’s a D.O.T. limit to the loudness of sound emitting devices like these, and these car horns don’t exceed that. In short, they’re legal – NOT 300db. According to Torque Test Channel these horns emit 112db. Once you make your peace with that, they work as intended. 3 stars due to false advertising (and additional sales generated because of it), otherwise they’d be 5 stars.
