They fit over the seat well enough that they don’t rub a spot on my chairs. I found that these work wonders for backpacks when my kids unload in the drop off line. No more stepping on them and things falling out. I can then swivel it around for my purse when they get out. All my girlfriends love them too. I only needed two so I gave the others away.
