It stays put!!! – Over the years, I’ve had other things to mount my phone in my car. With all of them, everything was fine until I went over a bump or had to make a sudden stop. This one, because of the way that it attaches to the vent, stays put!!! It also is easy to mount and unmount the phone. Mounting/unmounting takes a little time to get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s just plain easy.

Close to a great phone holder – I’m skeptical of car vent phone holders just because the car vents they attach to are plastic. I do like the fact that this particular holder does not jam the holder between two vent blades but has a hook that holds the back of the vent blade while using a screw to apply pressure to the base against the vents. In my opinion this is a better system. Really like the “gravity grab system” that it uses to mount and dismount the phone. No thumbscrews or other action required to hold the phone securely at 4 points. One negative is the friction screw that holds the gimbal ball does work loose after awhile and needs to be tightened frequently (daily) depending on type and distance you drive. Overall a good holder and I would buy again.

I’ve always used suction holders that obstruct the view out the window, so this was my first time using a vent holder. At first it was a little tricky getting it secured, but within 5 minutes I had it firmly in place. I have vertical vents and so far it seems to be working well with my galaxy s10+ phone. It even fits with the case on which is nice and it can be used with just one hand. I can’t say how durable it will be after longterm use, but so far I’m happy with it.
