Finally one that works on my truck! – Quickly connects to the ECU and has a lot of features. Not sure why, but sometimes the scrolling lags, but not a lot. Was able to connect to a 2002 and a 2004 ford F-150 that some of the others just won’t support. Some codes are model specific, so the option pops up when those code are read, and once you select your model, it gives you detailed info on the error.

Works great. – Worked great to analyze issues which led me to a simple MAF sensor cleaning after following the clues provided by this reader. Lean fuel/air mixture. I’m sure that a garage would have found a way to charge me at least $500 for an unnecessary repair. Great product, buy it. I got a great price of $20, but I’d buy again for $40-50 and feel ok.

Quality product at a great price. – Diagnossis was a breeze on our BMW. found out the bodyshop left a grill actuator unplugged when they replaced a headlamp assy. and bumper cover. They denied cause and said to take it to the dealer but an actuator doesn’t unplug itself after 21,000 miles and on the way home from the body repair!. Plugged the part in after removing the grill and radiator cowl, cleared the code and the light went out. It saved me so much time versus dropping off the car at BMW for service besides the likely cost when they found an item unplugged and then the hassle getting the bodyshop to pay me back! $$$ well spent

It worked? – Check engine light came on. Plugged in, read the code. Went to start the car and all it did was rapid clicking. Read that it was most likely my battery. Replaced my battery (shocking $$) and it started up. The check engine light is not on anymore so my delemia is was the code right? A new battery wouldn’t have fixed the code problem. So was the light on because of a charging problem, battery was failing to charge, or the code that the reader read was no big deal and the check engine light would not have come for that. So bottom line is, don’t know if it worked or not. Also, found out that the analyzer drains your battery , if you leave it plugged in for very long. Old battery plus analyzer = new battery.
