This baby won’t budge! – I bought this product as a replacement for a cheaper one. The previous one would fall off my dash and eventually broke. So let me tell ya’ this puppy ain’t going nowhere. I drive a concrete mixer and it is a rough ridin sob. I’m a 220 lbs. man and there are times I get tossed around like a ragdoll, bout drive a man crazy. But to the point, this bad boy stays put no matter what I throw at it. It sits a little lower on the dash but not so low as to be obstructed by the steering wheel. It comes with velcro adhesive squares to stick on the dash but I haven’t had the need for them. It costs a little bit more than similar products but you get what you pay for.

Granted, the dash isn’t perfectly square and flat, and they say you will need to use the Velcro to hold it in place on those dashes that aren’t square and flat.

However when I attached it, it rode high on my dash and interfered with my field of vision and thus a distraction. I’m 5’9″ so I’m not short. It might be good for some but everyone.

I decided to try this first. I ordered the newer magsafe model. The product came in a really good packaging with all the parts needed. I tried the intended way of installation on my 4Runner and it worked great but since my pixel 7 pro is a massive phone and blocks a good chunk of the window got creative and installed it on the console as seen. The clamp is great, magnets are great and overall does a great job. If there is not enough friction, you can add the velcro part. Also worth mentioning, the cutomer service is fantastic and very responsive as well.
