Tied down king sz mattress to top of van – Once I figured out the ratchets I was able to tie down my king size mattress to the top of my van and drive it on the highway for 30 miles with no issue. Came with a bag to store them after use.

Veteran strap set. If you’re new to ratchet straps skip these – This ratchet straps set isn’t for new users but more for the veteran who needs a better more versatile set for more awkward loads and tie-down locations. The straps are strong, the ratchets seem durable and well made, but the bungees are a mystery. The bungee cords are pretty much generic so I’m unsure how good they are. Overall this is a pretty good tie-down set for a pickup or small trailer. Again, beginners may want to shop around. Hope this helps someone. Happy shopping.

Seem sturdy but not retractable – Somehow my search results led me to these while looking for retractable sets so it’s just another set of tie downs like I had. Yet they seem way better made. Time will tell. That’s twice using Amazon search filters I got nailed so just beware if you are looking for same. I’d recommend these however.

Cheap, effective, but they smell terrible – Successfully strapped a box spring to the top of my van and had zero issues with it moving or at risk of blowing off. Straps are much easier to manage than attempting to hand-tie rope securely.
