Night vision is blurry and does not consistently stay on – We purchased this for our second car as I had received a similar one as a baby registry gift for the first car and loved it so much that I felt both cars we owned needed one. This is a different brand than the one in our first car , and by comparison , the day time camera seems clearer and has a wider angle.. however , the night vision on this camera is blurry and continually clicks on and off at night- at times even stopping video and just turning black at night. To be honest I considered swapping this out for the one in my other car as that one is more consistently clear and the night vision issues bothered me so much- I will not return as the price was good and it does the job.

I didn’t know cameras and monitors to watch the baby in the backseat were a thing, but I figured for the price it was worth a shot. I was going on a long trip, my partner couldn’t come, and my anxiety was through the roof about a going on a solo road trip with my baby. Great value camera for the money – It was easy to install for the most part. Just make sure the camera is oriented correctly before strapping it to the headrest. The video quality isn’t 4K or anything and if the lighting is in that middle area where it’s not dark enough yet to make the night vision come on but still getting dark, the quality is a little grainy. If you’re driving around at night and the B&W night vision is activated, if you go past a bright street light or something like that the screen will flash quickly thinking it’s daytime again, then go back to B&W night vision. It would be great to have a zoom option, but that would increase the cost. The main idea of this is for safety and peace of mind and for that I do think it will work fine. I just installed it the other day so only time will tell how well it holds up. Hopefully it doesn’t crap out in the first year. For $30 you can’t really go wrong.

fantastic product & outstanding customer services – This’s the best auto baby monitor for the money. After hours of reading reviews of many products and buying & returned some other monitors, I gave another try for this one. The first impression, the packing looks decent and has all extra wiring accessories(if needed, I didn’t have to use them but that was nice to have them included). The installation took me less than 10 mins(just for testing in the car, you may need more time to make the wiring nice & neat). I tried camera mounting for both front-facing & back-facing and got the same satisfying results. The HD monitor quality is pretty decent in day & night conditions(Note that don’t forget to remove a screen protector film to avoid a reflection, it’s a little hard to peel it off, but I think it means to protect the screen for good). In the box, I found a thank you note letter with many options for gift offers(baby products). I emailed customer services and gave them short feedback, and she sent me an additional camera(selected from one of the options) because I needed the 2nd for another car. Overall, this’s the best auto baby monitor for the money. I got 2 but paid for one and I paid it with the prime lightning deal for $35. I would recommend this product.
