Easy install and quick, easy Bluetooth connection – Easy to install after finishing the wiring schematic for my car. Wired up, powered up and connected to Bluetooth easily. Sounds good for the price.

Now I just need to get some speakers for it. – This radio replaced a fully working 2001 Honda Odyssey stock AM/FM CD player. It does not fit exactly in the bay and the included mounting option was not applicable in my situation. In fact the instructions mounting procedure was not actionable at all. Thankfully I was able to bore the small holes on the side of the unit open some and use the factory brackets and two of the four screws off of the original head unit, to keep the new one in place.

A common issue where the radio turns itself on and kills the battery was quoted as $1000 to fix. This was to replace the combined radio/HVAC unit. For a tenth of that cost, I got this radio and a Metra install kit. Looks great, sounds great. I don’t need an amp for my old car’s 200w speaker system. It literally just works. I just wish the bezels were squared off so it matched the trim a little better. Eh, who am I kidding? Who cares? I have both radio and HVAC again!

Only 3 inches deep, so be careful. – Make sure that you have a proper mounting kit. This stereo only goes back into your dashboard about half as far as most stereos, so if you don’t have a proper mounting kit (a.k.a, it says you don’t need one ) you may experience it going back into your dash.. overall it a great a value though. And it does what we needed. Took little effort to install w/ a wiring harness, and connects easy to the phone.
