Great new way to shade your vehicle – This umbrella functionality made setting up the shade easier and quicker. I am glad I took the chance and bought it.

Not too good – I bought this recently. At first it seemed alien and uncomfortable to put this in my truck, but I got used to it. Then 2 days ago the “umbrella clip” (the button to open it, which clicks in place when you extend the umbrella) simply stopped clicking in place. Just like that. I didn’t drop it, I took good care of it, and all of the sudden it just broke that way. So now since it doesn’t click it’s just like other aggravating sun covers, but with the additional aggravation of a stick protruding from it. Not that it doesn’t click it’s just a flimsy mess that stays on only by pinching it with my sun visors. So as you can see, I cannot recommend this. It looked like good quality but it broke down on me.

Second time purchase – I like the concept, I had my last one under a year and it brakes just like a umbrella, put its so convenient to pop up in car in Arizona it gets in the 100’s so you definitely need car covers to prevent burning yourself. Only down fall is I wish the quality was better so it last longer I don’t drive much and didn’t use daily. I only drive once a week so I feel I should of last way longer.

NOT SO GOOD SUN SHADE (See revised review!) – Initial Review: Bought this for my husband’s car. Only “complaint” is after use and folding it up, the reflective side is hot (really?) Other than that, he is happy with it. Easy to use and store.

Doesn’t fit all! Or hard to stay in place – The umbrella surface area is literally perfect for my Jeep Patriot but my visors or anything can hold it in place. Have to put something large in the console area to hold stick in area. So therefore sucks, almost useless. I mean it works if you can finger out hold to hold it in place.

Not for a 2017 Ford Explorer – I searched for use with a 2017 Ford Explorer. I thought the description specifically said Ford SUVs, but I can’t find that now.

Interesting Concept – I really like the ingenuity of this product, but the practical use of it is a little lacking. I have a 2018 Acura TLX with a large windshield at a pretty severe slant. This product does work in my car, but it’s a little bit of a struggle; I have to partially open it, position the bottom on the dashboard, and continue opening it while adjusting it to avoid my rear-view mirror. At full extension there are a couple of arms that I have to manually position or extend and I’ve noticed some friction marks on the inside of my windshield from where the arms of the sunbrella interact with the glass. Also, because of the angle of my windshield, the handle of the sunbrella rests against one of the my touch-screen monitors, so I have a piece of paper that I keep between the screen and the handle to make sure my display doesn’t get messed up.
