it’s okay but not great – Honestly these are not the best lights to put in your car. This is why, for starters it can be hard to install depending on where you want to have your lights. The look can be messy with all the cords since it can be hard to find a way to semi hide them if you are like me and want light in the back and front of your car. When you do get them installed you have to have the little silver end piece where the light comes out connected to the actual clear strip so it will light it up with color, due to this it makes it hard to hide the cords and also gives it a messy look since you can not hide the silver end pieces either. I will say that it does look cool and does light up well at night but it is just not a clean install look. i guess if you popped off panels in your car to hide the cords behind it might look better but im not about to do that. Overall i give it a 5/10

UPDATE: You get what you pay for – I really wished I read more of the negative reviews. Almost all of the negative reviews mention exactly what I am experiencing. In short, the product is flimsy. The casing that hold the led always come loose after you screw it on. I used duct tape to secure it. The light source is not strong at all. I did not expect the whole 26 ft to light up, but even 2 ft of light was not steady. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

Materials quality – There are two display components. One is the sleeve that is visible once installed – and the fiber optic insert. The main issue is the quality of the sleeve. It kinks easily leaving white marks in the plastic that won’t undo. Also – the material doesn’t have a smooth appearance once installed. The material creases easily – making otherwise smooth corners jagged in appearance. With the amount of time it takes to install this properly – a superior sleeve material would be preferred. Also, the fiber optic insert is electrostatic – all kinds of dust will stick to it. Make sure to wipe the line clean before inserting into the sleeve – or you’ll contaminate the sleeve with debris.

I wanted to add in some ambient lighting, but I didn’t want the standard foot well lighting kit that most people get. I wanted something a bit more customizable with a little more of a luxury feel. Through some research I stumbled upon someone doing a review of this product and I thought well it’s cheap enough to give it a shot.
