Easy if you don’t need to move the phone from vertical or horizontal – The suction and adhesion to the dash is great. It holds well and if you have to move it, it is still simple and easy to move. I enjoy that it has a slow release button because I don’t have to snap it in and out it is easier on the phone and my phone case. The only issue I have is the accessibility to move the direction of the holder. You have to unscrew the the back piece that holds them together and then adjust it. Additionally the piece that fits in the ball came out while I was trying to stabilize it on my dash. I had to use a screw to get the ball out of the ball joint piece and then push them back in and re-screw it together again. It made me a little apprehensive about it, but since that fluke it has held up for a couple of uses.

Took a few tries to get it right – Okay the installation on this thing is not difficult at all however if you have any sort of textured dashboard this thing will not stick to it. So I have one part of my dashboard that is completely smooth and I stuck it to that according to the instructions and it looked like it was going to stick. Much to my dismay 24 hours later it had fallen off. So I decided to go ahead and try it again and put it back up there in about 24 hours later it fell off again. So I did it a third time according to the instructions and it finally decided to stay on and has been on for the last 5 days. So I won’t say that the suction power is amazing cuz it takes a few tries to get right but so far it’s holding up it just took a few tries to get it right apparently.

I have a small car with the vents directly over my stereo so the vent mounted phone holders would block the screen. I like that this holder allows for either a suction mount or a vent mount. It was hard for me to find a spot that the suction would work with or without the pad. My car doesn’t seem to have a lot of level areas on the dash. When I finally found a flat spot it seemed to adhere well. It held my phone on short drive without budging. The push button release to put my phone in the mount and then squeeze it tight is easy to use and the mount has some adjustments to make it easier to view my phone.

Easy to mount, a bit flexy – Used this for a Pixel 7 (in a case) mounted in a Nissan NV200 van. Lots of mounting options, due to the different ways the parts can go together. Super sticky suction cup worked great even on textured dashboard. Holds and releases phone satisfactorily, easy to get it in a place where it’s easy to see, and now the phone connects with the car Bluetooth much better. My only beef is that the long arm is a bit more flexy than I’d prefer, and if I ever wanted to view the phone on a bumpy road, it might be harder than it already is!

Comes with enough parts to replace it where you want it – Hypothesis want to stick on the dashboard. But when I got it I tried to put it on the dashboard and it just went out sick. It does stick to the window. Comes with adapter for the air vent and that’s what I use.
