If everyone had one of these holders, there would be fewer accidents – We have these holders in all of our cars. It’s a simple install (assuming you have a CD player, which many new model vehicles do not have) and is very effective. Makes it simple to keep your eyes on the road yet use apps like Waze, Spotify and to notice notifications on your phone.

Great for CD slot – My only issue is that if I put my phone all the way to the bottom so it rests on the supports, my power button is covered, so I have to raise it about 1/4″ above the legs, since they don’t raise or lower, but still works great.

Car cell Phone Holder – I needed a cell phone holder for my car. I found this one that fits in the slot where you load CD’s. It works great. Sturdy and holds the cell phone snuggle/tightly when driving. The only issue I have discovered it that the button release is hard to reach as it is located on the left size of the holder behind the phone. This makes it hard to reach by your right hand to unlock the phone release. I don’t know if they make a model with the phone release located on the right size of the holder as I have not looked. But make sure what ever brand you buy has the cell phone holder release button on the right side of the device, that is unless the driver side is located on the right side of the vehicle like in Europe. Other that one big issue, this is an excellent mobile phone holder.

Notice where your CD drive is… – I didn’t pay close attention to the clearance required around the CD drive before I ordered. If you look at my pictures, you’ll see my CD slot is at the top of the panel with the dash jutting out above it at a 90-degree angle. So, installing the holder right-side-up wasn’t an option as there wasn’t any room above. Turning it upside-down wasn’t an option either (though I tried) because there wasn’t a way to screw it in tight enough because of the angle of my dash. So my phone kept flying across the car when I’d softly bump the holder. My brilliant friend dragged me to the hardware store and we got a shorter screw with a bolt to replace the original and screwed it in upside-down and permanently to the CD drive. It works great now but I’ll never be able to play a CD again, which isn’t a big deal. Also, It only works horizontally, but that’s fine, too. Ultimately, after a lot of work, it looks and works great.
