it is NOT csx3/treefrog squash, but it does smell similar and still smells amazing – If you buy this expecting your csx3 classic jdm smell, you aren’t going to be happy, there is definitely an “irish spring” note that has been mentioned in many other reviews,

Made My Car Smell Better – I kept a car outside for a year under some trees in the PNW. Slowly bringing it back to garage shape but smell of mildew/dampness is so hard to eliminate. This definitely helps. I probably went a bit overboard at first and sprayed it under all the mats/seats. For the first two days the smell was a bit too strong for me but it calmed down after that and my car smells a lot better now. Even my daughter likes the melon smell so I guess we’ll be rolling a JDM smelling Audi for the foreseeable future.

Surprisingly pleasant – I was recommended this JDM Squash Scent not knowing anything about how it was supposed to smell. Like most people I stupidly assumed it was supposed to be actual vegetable squash, like… gourds. But it’s actually a sweet candy-like citrusy fragrance that’s surprisingly pleasant. Citrus is one of my favorite scents and I enjoy it quite a lot. I’ve used other Chemical Guys products and had positive feedback so I figured I’d give this a go to get some of the funky smell out of my 55-year-old Pontiac. It definitely works to get rid of odors, but I imagine that it will take some repeated applications to eliminate or drown out all the funk that’s built up in that car.

Not bad at all. – Clean, cologne, candy like scent. It’s not close to those awesome Japanese air fresheners but it’s better than anything you can get at big box stores. Give it a try.
