New Car scent – It is called new car scent. To me it smells like hot plastic. Not my idea of new car. I spray an old hanging freshener that had lost all smell. Lasts about 3 weeks. My wife sprays her carpets and rear cargo area.

Not the best but it’s good. – It’s not that new car you smell in the dealership when you buy a new car, but it’s nice too. It’s a different smell like new plastic. I use it to wipe the plastic parts and also I spray inside. It’s decent.

The scent is pleasant, but not quite like a new car smell. – I received my Chemical Guys New Car Smell Air Freshener and Odor Eliminator several weeks ago. I sprayed it on the carpets and on a micro cloth I placed under the seat. It lasts for about a week before needing some more usage. It doesn’t take too much, so it will probably last a long time, a few friends have commented on the newness of my one year old cars new smell not fading, so I guess everything is going well. I would recommend this product for refreshing you car smell, I can’t comment on its use to mask odors, I haven’t had a problem with spills or anything similar.

Smella more like fresh wax or dashboard cleaner – Nothing can recreate that new car smell. This product smells like a freshly waxed vehicle or maybe more like right after you clean the inside with something like Armor-All. It’s clean and fresh. I gave a couple sprays under the mats and I could still smell it for a little over a week, when it started dying down.

Smells OK – Doesn’t last that long – In order to prevent it becoming too strong and I decided to spray it on a rag and leave the rag under the passenger seat. That way I can remove it if someone doesnt like the scent and simply spray on more when needed. Didn’t last as long as I expected, but I only used a few sprays on the rag. It will last a long time at this rate.

Not bad – I am a sucker for a new car smell. This has hints of a new car smell however it is not exact. That being said it still gives off that new commercial like sense you would get either walking into a new construction or a maybe newest car. My only complaint is the scent doesn’t linger as long as I thought it should or would so I do find myself spraying it more than I thought I would. I do have leather in the car so I only spray it on the rug portion of the vehicle and so far so good. I would re-purchase But just know if you’re looking for that authentic new car scent this is not exactly it

A little dab’ll do ya! – I was afraid that this stuff might be overpowering to my wife’s delicate sense of smell, so as an experiment, I just lightly sprayed a clean cloth with a couple of spritzes, and left it on the floor of the car. No complaints. I recently went to a car dealer and took a whiff for comparison purposes of a new vehicle. Pretty dang close. The key though is to clean the interior of your vehicle. Vacuum it out and get rid of the crud. You also DO NOT want to spray this stuff all willy nilly all over the interior. Maybe just two to four sprays on the carpets and you will be good to go. This little bottle will probably outlast the car.
