Game changer – This is a cool product. It keeps the dirt down below so you don’t pick up particles that could damage your cars finish. I ended up buying a second bucket and cyclone. Makes for easy cleanup. It also allows you to use the same water longer as it helps to keep dirt settled at the bottom. Great invention

Keeps the dirt trapped! – I was a bit skeptical about this, but after my first use, I’m a believer! I bought 2 of these, I had a water bucket and a wash bucket with soap. I would rinse my mit in the water bucket, then dip in the the wash bucket and clean the car some more. At the end of the wash, i dumped most of the water out, took the dirt trap out, and there was a considerable amount of dirt in the bottom of the bucket. I’ve never had that before. I have a Chemical Guys bucket, and a Lowe’s 5 gal bucket. The dirt traps fit both with no issues

Fits a pickle bucket. – Fits *perfectly* into a firehouse subs pickle bucket if you are unsure if it will fit into your local chain hardware store bucket. Firehouse subs sell them for $2-$3 which is basically at cost.

Great Design! – This bucket dirt trap is a great addition to your detailing needs. It fits most buckets, but only perfectly really with its own native one, Chemical Guys.

Works but doesn’t fit to the bottom. – Works as designed but it is just a bit larger than the 5gal buckets I bought. Maybe the buckets are non-standard, regardless it works. i tied a bit of string to the trap to pull it out easier.

Fits Menards green buckets. – Saw some mixed reviews about bucket fitment. Haven’t had any issues with the green Menards buckets, even after they changed the design on them this year. Fits snug in the bottom, just don’t jam it in. My fingers are small enough that I can grip the cones like a bowling ball and work it out easily. Absolutely does what it supposed catching all the dirt. Unlike some other reviews, all the cones were cleanly punched on ours.
