The Car Adapter Splitter worked for my purpose, I now have one port for my car camera that records while I drive, and a second port to plug in my phone charger, so I no longer have to unplug between the devices. There is also USB charge ports in case anyone else in the van needs to charge their tablets or phones, overall the device works well, and has the perfect small form factor.
