Didn’t think I’d love it this much! – I absolutely love being in my car… Road trips, driving around town, weekend exploring, and even mid day getaways. There is nothing better than being able to get in your personal car and take off. But my number one problem I had in my car was my inability to use a flat surface… eating, using a computer, writing, pretty much any activity that requires a flat surface just sucked. This steering wheel desk was the answer to it all. Lunch breaks at work became easier and cleaner. Using my computer quickly to edit documents while parked before seeing clients. This desk also does very well in the car heat and grips really good to the steering wheel. Super easy to use!

Will fit 2023 Acura Integra – Contrary to what “Confirmed Amazon Fit” this steering wheel tray does fit the 2023 Acura Integra. The manufacturer recommends turning the steering wheel upside down but it isn’t necessary. The tray works perfectly fine installed with the steering wheel in the normal position. Additionally, there might be concern that it might scratch the plastic chrome A-spec badging on the steering wheel but the tray does not make contact with it at all. All contact points of the tray are on the leather parts of the steering wheel. It’s fairly sturdy. I’ve used my laptop on the tray with only having to recline the seat a bit and it may be a little high for some people. Adjusting the steering wheel every time would be cumbersome. I have an LG Gram so it’s fairly light (2.2lbs). I would be hesitant to put something like a 7lb 17″ laptop on it because I’m not sure if that much weight would leave stress marks on the contact points on the leather steering wheel.

Makes long “non- stop” trips better – I live a few hours away from my parents. When I go up to visit them I always stop to get food and I have end up eating it on my lap. I can’t go in to a restaurant since I travel with 2 dogs. This tray has made a huge difference. I don’t have to worry about getting that burger grease on my pants anymore lol but the cup part is really not necessary since there’s already a cup holder in the car.

Solves The Problem, But Not Exactly Horizonal – This definitely solves the problem of having a temporary surface to place a quick meal on or a laptop or whatever when you’re sitting in your car and not driving. This product has a clever design that manages to fit a typical steering wheel without any hardware and simply uses gravity and its own weight to stabilize itself. Not every steering wheel is the same in terms of diameter and thickness so it pretty hard to design something like this, which “adapts” to the existing steering wheel, and have it lay perfectly horizontal. Having said that, the instructions say to position your wheel in “negative” position – whatever the hell that means. The images show the steering wheel rotated 180 degrees, so I guess that’s what they mean by a “negative” position. They say that rotating the wheel to its negative position ensures that it fits and lays perfectly horizontal Well I tried it with the wheel in its 180 degree position and its normal position and it has a slight incline towards the wheel of about 4 degrees – but I could not get it perfectly horizontal as it shows in the images even though it’s supposed to fit my car’s steering wheel according to the Amazon car database.

Worth it! – The only issue is that my car has more of a sport steering wheel so it connects higher than I would like, but still does the job when you want to eat on the go or do a little work on the phone.

Perfect for a 2013 Toyota Tacoma steering wheel BUT – You have to turn the steering wheel upside down to use it. That’s a pain to remember to do every time since I personally even out the wheel every time I park.
