Easy to use – So I haven’t had to use this fortunately but I have a funny story to tell. So I just bought these and was explaining their use to my 3 year old daughter. Later that day she grabbed one and took it with her to her car seat without me noticing. So I start the car and I look back at her to make sure she’s buckled in and in that short time she had cut her seat belt. At first I was so freaked out and thinking she may have cut herself. But she was fine. I definitely don’t recommend you let a child play with them though. I was very happy to see that even a 3 year old can use these extremely easily. I have to get her a new car seat now but at least I have some peace of mind that she could use it in an emergency.

Friend probably wouldn’t have died if he owned this – My friend died in a flash flood. As the car began to submerge he was unable to open door against the weight of the water. If he had one of these he could have smashed the window and crawled out. It also has a seatbelt cutter if for some reason an accident prevents you to unlatch. You may feel that you don’t need one because you’re not near water or bridges, my friend wasn’t near either. I got every family member one for Christmas that year. Each box includes 4.

Great product – Great product. Luckily I have not had to use it. The other reviews stated that it would be awkward to mount so I also purchased zip ties. I attached them to the bottom of The driver side and passenger side front seatbelts. With double zip ties it can slide up and down the seatbelt.I like that it is big so that if I need it I can easily grab it. Also with the bigger size I am able to cut the seatbelt with that end still. I was debating velcro attachment but I’m the event of an emergency and the car is underwater I was not confident the tool would stay attached. Also if I’m constrained to my seatbelt I just have to reach my hand forward if I’m in the backseat or down if I’m in the front.

Sturdy and Brightly Colored: See Edit!! – They feel pretty sturdy. I haven’t gotten to they them out yet of course, but I feel in an emergency it would be helpful. The handle is plastic to make it lighter, but it’s a harder plastic. The one thing that confused me was the little holder/mount the tool came in. I can see no way to mount or stick it anywhere that it will actually stay in my vehicle so I put it in my center console. Not sure if the holder was actually meant to mount anywhere or not. If I manage to get myself a window or seatbelt to test out, I will update my review.

Four pieces actually consist of the two tools and two mounting brackets is which what I received. Packaging was not damaged so nothing was missing and I only got two tools and two mounting brackets which I figured is four pieces. Was a bit puzzled for a minute. The picture and description needs to be updated or I may have to inquire about my other two tools and brackets.
