Works almost as good as it looks – As far as phone holders go this is a pretty nice looking one, very contemporary looking. That being said, it works well also. It is adjustable length and width wise and holds my phone tightly in place with a ratcheting mechanism. The holder attaches to the vent by a hook that is tightened by twist knob. Once attached there is a ball joint that allows you to tilt and swivel your phone to almost endless angles.

Super easy and flexible car mount – I have been wanting a car mount for a while to keep my phone in clear view when driving and needing to use Google maps. This unit is great. Simple to install (it has a single screw crank that extends and tightens the hook over your air vent). Once your phone is in place, you can easily swivel the mount to get the perfect viewing angle. It even rotates completely if you want to put in wide screen mode. Easy release by clicking one small button on the back behind the phone. I also appreciate that there is a gap at the bottom to allow your power cord to still connect even when the phone is in the holder. From the packaging to the product, this is a well thought out design. If you need a car mount, I would recommend picking this one up.

Sturdy and Does The Job – As you can see, this has a clear base to stand the phone on, two “arms” to clamp it in, and a hook on the back that slips directly onto one of the horizontal slats on the air vent. You simply place the hook on the back edge of the vent slat and twist the knob to tighten – this pulls the main frame of the device into the vent and tightens everything. The rotational axis of this is pretty customizable, so you can place it in any vent, swivel it to angle it at anyone in the front seat, and then twist to firm it up so it no longer swivels and so that the weight of the phone doesn’t move it around.

The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because I had to install it on the vent to the left of the steering wheel instead of the right side because the vent on the right side was too close to the steering wheel and your hands would hit the phone when you turn the wheel. This could be solved if the unit had an extension, so the phone stuck out about 2in more out from the vent. In my case the horizontal distance from the right edge of the steering wheel to the left edge of the vent is only about 1in, so if that distance was about 2in or more it should work fine and your hands would not hit the phone. Main issue with putting it on the left side of the steering wheel is you have to run the charging cord over the steering wheel column.

Works almost as good as it looks – As far as phone holders go this is a pretty nice looking one, very contemporary looking. That being said, it works well also. It is adjustable length and width wise and holds my phone tightly in place with a ratcheting mechanism. The holder attaches to the vent by a hook that is tightened by twist knob. Once attached there is a ball joint that allows you to tilt and swivel your phone to almost endless angles.
