Best Budget Car Phone Mount! – I purchased this car phone mount in preparation for a long Thanksgiving family road trip. I have purchased many other mounts in the past, especially those that use suction cups to on the inside of a windshield. Those have always failed and fallen off. This mount is great, because it locks into place via an air vent very firmly. Securing and removing the phone is quite easy and convenient. I should disclose that I have only been using this mount for 3 weeks now, but have zero regrets on this purchase, especially when considering the price. I have included a few downsides below.

Update to original review. – I deleted my original review and I’m updating it. The company did end up reaching out to me and sending me a replacement. Which I appreciate. I gave 4 stars because I am weary and worried the replacement might break too. If the replacement lasts longer than 2 months I will give 5 stars. The video shows that the my original mount broke and would no longer extend and de-extend. They did ask for me to send photos because I did not know they are not able to view the video due to Amazon’s strict policies. I’m not sure what pictures would have done when the video shows a better depiction of what happened. But they did end up sending the replacement anyways which I appreciate.

It works, but… – This mount works with the weird vents on my toyota echo (my vents aren’t even bladed; they’re actually divided into gaping quads). This mount is also able to hold my iphone 12, even though I have one of those finger rings stuck onto the back of the case (the last mount i bought couldn’t hold my phone b/c of the ring).

Very sturdy phone mount. – This is a great mount. Holds super strong and keeps the phone from vibrating. My only complaint is I wish it had more articulation. Where I have it I would like to be able to turn it more than is possible. Also make sure you have a “normal” AC vent. This works great in my car but would not be usable in my Wrangler because of the Jeep having weird vents.
