Happy with this cell phone holder! – This is a permanent installation so make sure you know exactly where you want to install it. In my case, it is installed on my dashboard. I currently have a cup-type car cell phone holder which seems to get in my husband’s way when he drives. I had been searching for one that would keep my phone within reach in the event of an accident and my phone not be thrown out of reach. This one is permanently installed so you cannot just move it around, you can remove the unit by releasing the suction but the adhesive-based area that the main body where the suction cup adheres cannot be removed. I use my phone as a GPS navigator and am able to swivel it horizontally with this holder. Once the suction cup takes hold of the adhered base the cell phone holder does not move and the description states that this unit is 30 times stronger than ordinary suction cups and I believe this to be the case in this situation. I have a SAMSUNG NOTE 9 with a think AUG case and it fits comfortably in this cell phone holder. The gooseneck is pretty sturdy and allows me to maneuver my phone into various positions. It does come with a replacement adhesive pad but I do not see anywhere that you can buy extra adhesive pads in the event you have to remove the cell phone holder. This does come with a straight nonflexible stiff neck but I do not need to use it at this time. Although the description shows both the stiff neck and gooseneck installed you are only getting one suction cup so you can only use the stiff neck or gooseneck and not both at the same time. I think that you should have the ability to buy an extra suction cup bottom and dashboard pads.

My dash doesn’t really have any flat spots that I could stick any of the others to without being loose or coming unglued. This one holds my phone very sturdy but is also within reach and where I can actually see it. And it doesn’t cover my vents which is a plus!!
