They sent me two positive terminals – I received two red positive hinges but honestly it doesn’t matter since that doesn’t effect the function. I used a black marker and colored one black other than that then work fine and they seem strong enough to last. Had one terminal hooked up to a battery and that battery fell off the side of the truck and stayed connected to the wires and terminal so they hold!

So inexpensive I almost passed these up but I’m glad I didn’t. – I’ve got one heck of a DIY audio system in my Explorer, as in competition-quality. I’ve got a 3,000 amp secondary battery so I can listen to my stereo with the engine off for hours and hours. But my “smart” 2017 Explorer thinks it knows what I want and need more than I do. So every 30 minutes it cuts the power off to the stereo. And while I can open and shut the door and turn the stereo back on for another 30 minutes, it only allows me to do so 4 times before it just plain tells me that I’ve got to start the engine in order to listen to the stereo ever again, AND let it run for 30 minutes. BS!!!! I use this quick-release on the negative battery terminal in order to “reset” the silly computer and trick it into letting me go through another 4 cycles all over again. I’m not sure how I got along without this before. Huge quality of life issue for those of us who think car audio is the best thing to ever exist.

Must have for boat owners – I needed some organizing in the boat battery wiring department, I seen this product and decided to give it a try. It’s simple, very easy to organize your wires, and you can remove it without a single tool. As boat owners know, deep cycle batteries have 4 posts, 2 wing nut style and two clamp on style. Wing nut posts are usually used for the main starting or trolling motor wires, and all the accessories also. This causes a problem, as you struggle to get all these wires on 2 posts, the wing nut just doesn’t tighten down as well without twisting the smaller accessories wires off to one side and stressing the wire ends. This battery connector allows you to utilize the commonly never used clamp on posts keeping your starting and trolling wires by themselves nice and tight on the wing nut post and everything else on these clamp on posts spreading the wiring love onto 4 posts nice and even, instead of two cramped up wing nut posts that you can’t tighten properly due to so many wires. Added bonus! : You can remove all your accessories power with just a flip of the clamp disabling every accessory on the boat with ease and NO TOOLS required. Easy battery replacement too! Every boat should just come standard with these, simple as that.

No More Loose Terminals – I’ve replaced terminals, shimmed ’em, smashed ’em down, soldered leads to ’em, etc. over the years in my trusty Taco.

Doesn’t fit my battery terminals (got them to work) – **EDIT** So it was kind of jank, but I got them to work. The terminals of my battery are removable. So I took them off and legitimately hammered the terminals on with brake lube as a lubricant. Once they got on they enlarged themselves and are working like a charm. Super convenient since I’m always disconnecting my battery for one reason or another.
