It burnt out my car socket – Well I should have listen to the reviews. It definitely burned my cigarette lighter socket. It’s brown and black inside the socket. The product worked great for a few days. But once I forgot to disconnect it out the socket before starting the car and that was it. Nothing works in that socket anymore. Initially, it smelled good and easy to use. But all in all , not worth it because I will need a fuse or whatever the replacement part is for my car.

Change the filter to prevent overheating – This diffuser is great and works really well. I read Some reviews that said it burnt out or damaged their vehicles but I haven’t had that issue. One thing you have to watch out for is the amount of oil you mix in with the water. If you use too much it will over saturate the filter and cause it to clog and stop misting. If this happens change the filter and allow it to dry all the way out or it will overheat the diffuser and cause damage. At first I thought mine broke but once I changed the filter with the extra one it came with it started working like new again. I would Definitely recommend but don’t put more than 3-4 drops of oil in at a time.
