Increased Safety & Confidence While Driving and Stays on After Carwashes – I bought these after an intense scare when switching lanes on the highway. I had a close call due to my blind spot. I must say, these mirrors are worth it. I saved myself a lot of stress and worry by using these. They’re so affordable and I am actually surprised how many people don’t use these. I feel a lot more confident and safe when switching lanes now. I bought the mirrors back in May 2018, drove at least 6000 miles, and had my car washed at least 14 times and they are still on as of Nov. 2018.

Excellent blind spot coverage. – The shape of this mirror gives very good blind spot coverage however the shape makes adhesion with tape provided to be a bit of a challenge. I added double sided Gorilla tape to fill the gaps and all is good.

effective quality glass mirrors, flush installation needs careful positioning – The mirrors are glass and not plastic (be careful not to drop them!) with good field-of-vision and optical quality . I wanted to install mine flush with the side mirror and took a chance the set would come with extra foam pads as advertised, to my relief there were 4 extra pads taped on to the original package (it seems that the manufacturer has been reading Amazon reviews…). When I started to install them it was clear that the mirrors require careful placement in order to be completely effective, so I used used low-adhesive double-sided foam tape that sticks well enough to check view from the driver’s seat but can be easily removed from the mirror. Finding the sweet-spot on the first one took about 10 minutes of trying different positions after which I marked the position on the side mirror and applied the mirror with the permanent foam pads that came with the mirrors (the extra pads supplied made flush installation possible). With that experience the installing the second mirror was a breeze.

It’s good but….. – I’ve always been a user of blind spot mirrors even if the vehicle has the blind spot sensors because they give you a quick view of what’s coming up before the sensors even kick in. This is real useful when someone decides to change into your lane at the last second without signaling. I like this mirror because it doesn’t have a huge frame around it so it blends into the side mirror really well. The downside is that it is advertised as having two mounting options, one with the swivel base and one without but it really doesn’t. I prefer it without the swivel base because with the base it sits high and provides an edge that can get snagged on clothing or when you are washing your vehicle. The problem is that the product listing as well as the packaging show the mirror with the adhesive ring already mounted to it and it gives the impression that all you have to do is take the adhesive dot and position it inside the ring to provide a nice big round adhesive area for fixed mounting BUT that dot comes already attached to the swivel base so YOU CAN’T DO IT!!! Fortunately I had a roll of 3M double backed tape so I cut a circle and put it inside the ring but guess what? The mirror is so curved that it’s not flat on the back so the tape will not even contact the sideview mirror’s surface. So much for it having two mounting options. I gave them to a friend who doesn’t mind mounting them with the swivel base.
