This one had no problems. I bought another one of these to replace it for my truck. It will hold up in thextreme Florida heat.

Long front dashboard to window – I had been looking for a long-tailed holder like this since our dashboard surface to window is long. We have this on the lower part of the middle front window going straight to the middle of the center console area and its exactly what we needed. So far, the suction is holding. I know some reviewers said that it shakes when driving, yes that is correct IF YOU do not use the little hold that also comes with the unit. Towards where the phone holder is, I attached the neck of the device to the small holder and the shaking is nonexistent now.

In light of this, I need to have a way to do things on two phones at the same time while driving. This becomes a real safety issue in bad traffic….juggling two phones and a Kindle. Long story short, my old cell phone holder was not super great, so I went ahead and bought this one based on the reviews. These holders mount in 2 minutes, they are rock solid, they fit very small phones to very large clunky cases, and they are a very, very good value for the money. I just got my second mount so I can install it and have “Command Central” in my car. Now if I can find one for my Kindle Keyboard…..hmmmm.
