Car phone holder with very secure vent mounting option. – This phone holder is one of many different ones that I’ve tried. In comparison, it is very simple with a good suction cup and the a/c vent clip is very good. I don’t usually like the vent clips because how unsecured it feels but with this system, it’s great…it does not move.

Mounted it on the dashboard, hasn’t loosened up any yet, the actual post where the phone sits can still be rotated while it’s tightened so the way down, wish it was actually tight, but hasn’t moved unless I went to move it. I don’t like the release buttons or the pressure button to close the mount, sometimes on side won’t get pissed hard enough so it won’t close the gripper. Other than that it’s good for what is made for.

I don’t understand the extra attachment piece or exactly how it’s supposed to be used, but…. – Overall this is excellent! There’s an extra attachment piece apparently for mounting on places other than the windshield (such as the rear view mirror, a vent, etc.), but I never could get it to work in any of those places in my particular vehicle. No problem, though. I put it where the last one was – on the windshield on the far left corner, where there’s no vision blockage/safety issue. There’s no adhesive on this one unlike our last one that held up for over two straight years. But when it came off, the mess was horrendous to clean up. On this device, the suction is really incredible. I actually tried to unlatch the suction control and peel it off the windshield to move it just a tiny bit – and could not get it off! I gave up, pushed it hard to expel any air that did get inside the suction cup, and then folded the latch back in and expect this will stay up a considerable period of time.
