Direct replacement for OEM power port on Ford Explorer Sport Trac – Installed on a 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, replacing the OEM power port. It was a direct fit, without any modification to the mounting hole. I spliced into the original wiring which supplied the power port. Outstanding – Drilled a hole and dropped this into my zero-turn mower to keep my phone charged while mowing the lawn for a few hours. The only suggestion I would make is to separate the covers for each USB port. Since I’m only plugging in one charger while mowing, the other port remains open to debris and such as I’m mowing. I would recommend that plugging in an extra charging cable or dummy cover to prevent dust and grass from getting in there if you use it like I do. Otherwise, it works great.
