Solidly built but oh so smelly – While I haven’t had to use these yet, they feel like they’re built well. They roll up small enough to take up little space on our camping trips. The only complaint is that they smell horrible and the smell is very strong. We had to let them air out on our patio for about a week before we couldn’t smell them as soon as we stepped outside.

No Good – I got this product due to my truck is stuck in the backyard. This Product did not work as advertised. Now it is under my tire and my truck is still stuck in the same place.

Best product for getting stuck in snow! – I have a 4wd Rav4 with great tires but I still do stupid moves that get me stuck in the snow….typically deep too! I live in Michigan and often drive to the U.P. in the winter and play around on ORV trails and seasonal highways. I also have physical disabilities that make it hard for me to use traditional chains. The first time that I took after purchasing these, I of course got stuck in an ORV trail snow-bank.

Storm Preparation – stores nicely in the trunk – While I haven’t had t use yet – since I live in the Northeast it’s only a matter of time. I travel frequently and last year got stuck in the snow. A very nice lady stopped to help me and had one of these – and I was able to get un-stuck. Doesn’t take up too much room in the trunk and while I may not need often, the one time I do – it will be more than worth it!

Haven’t had the opportunity to use the traction mats yet. – These traction mats seem to be of high quality. They’re easy to handle and can be stowed away in seperate bags. I keep them in the trunk of my car. I deliver newspapers between 1:15am to 5:00am. The plow trucks push the snow and ice up to in front of the newspaper tube. To get close enough with my car, I sometimes have to try to navigate through the snow and ice so I can make the delivery. There’s been times when I got stuck and had to call a tow truck to pull me out. Hopefully, the traction matts will prevent me from having to call a tow truck anymore. If so, this was money well spent.
