Works great – Our original key fob housing broke. Husband ordered this one to try and just replace that part. Worked out great. Easy to switch over to the new housing and is still working great. Very pleased

Great fob case but needs directions – The plastic cases on these fobs often break. The hardware store charged me $30 for a fob case (but it had the metal blade which I did not need). I returned it and saved money on this one. This is only useful if you just need the plastic case and already have the blade, battery and chip that is programmed for your car. I lost the chip but was able to get one at a small storefront at the mall. They sold me the chip and programmed it for my car for $80. They wanted to sell me the entire fob for $132. A local locksmith wanted to charge me $250 to make a new key for me. Honda wanted $180 for a new key. This case is a great bargain but it would be perfect if it had directions. 2 things you need to know. The little tab that holds the blade needs to be slid over the tip end of the blade down to the base of the blade. Otherwise the screw hole will not line up. The tab then seems like it does not fit into the case. Look carefully, there is a ridge on the tab, you have to line it up with the ridge on the case and slide it up into place. I suggest you glue in the chip. I used silicone. The first time I changed the case I did not glue in the chip. When my son dropped the key it broke open and he didn’t notice the chip fell out so it was lost. Hope this helps.

Nice but didn’t last long – Thing came in a little broken but still used it. It broke down in a month. Luckily I bought two so using other one.

Fit exactly – The color helps me not confuse 1 set of my honda keys with another set when I’m in a rush was easy to switch parts over I’ve dropped this key fob a few times from high places not willingly but by accident and it hasn’t busted open so built pretty good
