Solid product & a must-have if you have a Tesla – I haven’t had to use these jack pads yet but wanted to have them on hand in case I’ll need them. Better to have and not need than need and not have. I chose this because yes, it was offered through the vine program but the other reasons are:

Useful when needed – These work for their intended purpose though I’m hoping to never have to use them personally. I got them in case a shop I was going to happened to not have them for whatever reason. Easy to spot in case they leave them on or if they mysteriously don’t put them all back in my car. The item feels sturdy and does the job. If you need some pucks for emergency situations I can recommend these.

Elegant, simple must-have Tesla accessory – I got these to protect the battery and underside of my Tesla Model S from misplaced jack faces when having service or tire rotations. This accessory should have been supplied by Tesla. I suspect Tesla has special plates on their jacks that fit the lift holes and won’t crush the battery, but all the other shops and tire places don’t have those jacks and most don’t have these pucks. These are hard urethane, the stuff that skateboard wheels are made of. A slight give but really dense. The O-ring holds the puck in the positioning hole in the undercarriage (see photo). And the red color makes it hard to accidentally leave the puck in place when you’re done. They come in a set of four with a labeled nylon storage bag. I keep them in the rear trunk in the storage area on the left side and insist the service technicians use them.

If storing these pads inside the cabin of the vehicle, this will be a big benefit over hockey puck rubber, which has a very strong smell. The red color is also attractive. The pads are the size of standard hockey pucks, with an additional boss for insertion into the Tesla frame. Each pad has a soft o-ring that provides some resistance to insertion/removal. This resistance holds the pad securely in place on the frame while the jack is positioned under the pad. The pads come with a black cloth silk-screened drawstring bag for storage.
