Car vent mount works great on vertical slat vents – I was unable to use the telescoping arm of the product because I did not have a surface which was suitable for it to mount. The windshield may have worked but it obscured far too much of my fiend of vision when mounted there. If you plan to use this part instead of the vent mount, make absolutely sure that you have a completely flat surface on your dash that’s sufficient size for the mounting.

This is the one – This a fabulous, well made, cell phone holder!! I will absolutely buy more for my other vehicles!! ****** Instructions ****** You must though my degrease the spot your going to attach it to. A little alcohol swab isn’t going to cut it. I used an un-scented alcohol sanitizer on a paper towel and scrubbed it! Once the area was completely dried I placed the adhesive disc and pressed down hard. The instructions say to let things rest for a day. I erred on the side of caution and left it for a day and a half. Here is the catch!! You have to mount the suction lever towards the windshield. If you mount it any other way it will fall off! I’ve tried to sow this in my 2d photo. The end result is a very stable mount that survived a brutally hot North Carolina summer. I spent hours researching different makes and models of cell phone mounts until I found this one. I read through the comments and incorporated the different lessons learned into the process I used. I wish you the success I had!

Really works!! – I have wasted so much money on other phone mounts only to be disappointed. This one actually held the phone on the really rough sections of I-20 in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Such a relief to not have my phone drop on the floor especially when using the gps on my phone. I will have to get another one in the spring for our truck. The rough roads are accentuated when we pull our fifth wheel.

Love this – Strong….much wider arms….I have a Moto G power with phone protector…….just got this yesterday.,,but so far really like it….I m a rep so my phone is in and out of an auto holder many times during the day…….so we ll see how it stands up to alot of probably unusual use.
