Works as described. – Item works as described. I used it without using any window cleaner fluid and it worked great to remove the “film” that builds up on the inside of the windshield from a/c use, etc. The extra bonnets is nice.

How to use – As seems common, no instructions. Okay, it seems simple enough, except the shrink wrapped pad? The wrapping looks sort of permanent and the shape of the pad looks nothing like the shape of the plate you are supposed to put it on (it’s figure 8 shaped and the plate is triangular lol). i was afraid if i opened the plastic, it would expand to the size of a mattress. Who want’s a figure 8 mattress? So i Mickey Moused it. Folding it in half, i just sort of held it in place with the micro fiber cloth cover. Tight fit. I spritzed the inside of my windshield and proceeded to try and clean. Just smeared. The microfiber cloths are thin and cheap. So i did what any reasonable person would do, i consulted youtube. Found a guy who’s been using his for 2 years and loves it. He uses just the micro cloth on the plate (no pad) DRY. i tried that is morning before driving to the store and… it worked. Well. Took that film right off and got into all the edges and corners. i may use the figure 8 pad as Mickey Mouse ears? idk,

Surprising how well this tool works – It’s not easy to get into the corners and edges of my SUV windshield. So, I took a shot at this XINDELL Car Window Cleaner tool and ordered some extra microfiber cloths for it. Per other reviews, I put the microfiber cloths in the dryer on wrinkle removal cycle (instead of a full wash) for a few minutes to remove the loose fibers. This worked well ! Then I put the clean cloth on the tool and lightly sprayed the cloth with window cleaner (I put in the included bottle), and used the tool on my SUV internal windshield/windows. The moisture makes it easier for the cloth to glide over the glass. I was surprised on how well this tool works and happy with finally getting a very clean glass without smears. Haven’t used on exterior glass yet, but will probably use paper towels/windex first to remove most of the dirt, then use this tool to get smears/etc cleaned up. Note: The tool is a little big for my rear-view and side mirrors, so I use the microfiber by itself for those small areas.

Practically a Necessity! – I use this on windows and mirrored closet doors in addition to my car windshield. Collapsible handle is a nice feature. There was also a large green sponge included (not pictured) that I may never use unless I wash my car by hand someday. My only concern is that the two replacement covers are round—not triangular as in the product photo. Whether they will actually fit on the wiper remains to be seen.
