It’s a trash can bro. – It’s easy to clean and empty out. The heat has probably deformed the plastic a bit but the lid can still sit in the cup portion securely.

Sturdy plastic and EASY and QUICK 1-step process – I especially appreciate the fact that I can just push the trash into the cup instead of having to first open its lid (making it a two-step process), as is often the case with other cup-holder trash bins. I have a larger garbage basket on the floor in the back seat for larger items (e.g. soda cans or bottles or packaging from large products, etc.), but I don’t like having to reach behind me just to toss a used tissue or candy wrapper or some such trash. I like having this up front in my cup holder — faster and easier — that I can later empty and dump into the trash can in the back or a trash can at a gas station when it gets full.

Decent Trash Can – I usually keep my car pretty clean but I have been called a “receipt hoarder” in the past so this helped that problem. I keep it in the cup holder of the driver side door and it does pop open and spill out under my legs from time to time.
